Classy. Was our first impression as we entered this restaurant. We were definitely impressed with the style and environment of it, and we were eager to see and taste the menu! Once we were seated and began to interact with the servers and observed the other customers stroll in, we began to realize that there was something especially unique about this place. It had a warm feeling, something that you would feel when you are at home, eating comfortably in your own kitchen. We were hooked, and we haven't even tasted the food!

The restaurant has a variety of seating, there are perfect tables for 2 or 4 people, as well as family style seating for larger groups. There is also a very comfortable patio with a fireplace and a waterfall, we hope to reserve it for a party someday :)

Umm, this is our lunch, we were quite hungry :)
I know, it all looks so delicious. Adrian was quite scared of Greek food at first, but when he met the owner of this restaurant one day, he was convinced to try out this exotic cuisine :)

Appetizer: SAGANAKI -- pan-fried sheep cheese with a splash of lemon
Don't be scared by the description! You will want more, we promise...
A very unique tasting dish, so many flavors and textures united together: salty, lemony, and chewy, all united with deliciously soft pita bread. This is only the beginning...

Soup: AVGOLEMONO SOUP -- Greek soup made with chicken broth, egg, and lemon
I love the presentation of this, it is so beautiful!
I wasn't sure how I would like the soup, because it sounded a little bit strange. But after the first bite I was pleasantly surprised, and very delighted by the soft, yet flavorful warm blend of flavors. The chicken broth was a flavorful base, the egg was subtle (I wouldn't have known it was in there if it wasn't stated), and the lemon added a zest. The crispy pita bread was a nice little treat on the side.

FALAFEL -- fried patties of garbanzo, fava beans, parsley and onions served with pickled turnips and tahini sauce.
Adrian found his favorite way to eat vegetables! I have eaten falafels at various places, but these instantly made it to the top of my list. I was able to taste the high quality of the ingredients, and they were delicious!

GYRO -- seasoned beef and lamb on a rotisserie, sliced and served with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tzaziki sauce. Served in pita bread.
Adrian's choice, and he was very happy with his decision! The meat was very tender and delicious! The best way to eat this is by putting tzaziki sauce on each bite.

KATAFEI KREMA -- a greek style cheesecake with a custard cream center, lemon zest, and topped with shredded wheat, covered in honey syrup and baked. Topped with cinnamon....
WOW! This is one of THE BEST desserts I have EVER tasted! I dream about it, and anticipate my next chance to savor this wonderful dessert...
It comes out warm, and it warms me up inside. I absolutely love honey, so the fact that every bite of this dessert is soaked in honey is wonderful. The shredded wheat adds a nice tough contrast to the soft custard inside. Oh and the finishing cinnamon touch, all so good!!

Slater's 50/50:Burgers

Slater's 50/50... Anaheim Hills and Huntington Beach
A delicious find! The name comes from their original hamburger patty which is made of 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef, you must try it! And there is always a journey awaiting you, because there is always a new burger waiting to be discovered! Try one off of their original menu, or make a unique creation of your own; the options are endless!
The quality of the food is superb, and the taste is beyond delightful, and there is something amazingly delicious for everyone (even vegetarians!).

Peanut Butter & Jelly Burger with Bacon!
I know it sounds weird! But if you LOVE PB&J, you can't go wrong with this!

Fried pickles and Fried Mac N Cheese...
Fried Mac N Cheese is sooo goOoOd! It is small, but mighty ... crunchy, cheese, chewy bite :)
The fried pickles did not impress me, they were just fried dill pickle chips ... just okay.

Jay Bees BBQ:Pulled Pork Sandwich, Mac & Chesse, BBQ Spaghetti

Jay Bees BBQ Gardena,CA                              ACB RATING:9/10
This was another great find from our close & personal friend, "Guy" from the food network. The owner has roots from the south and her family owns some BBQ restaurants in Mississippi ...if i recall correctly. Her family recipe is "bomb diggity", the pork is so tender and juicy, her BBQ sauce is "ridunkulicious" with a big bang to it, and her BBQ spaghetti is unheard of!! WOW!! just delicious...
COMING SOON R&J's from BBQ expert Marnita Billups

America's Cup:Yogurt

America's Cup, Costa Mesa, Ca                     ACB RATING:10/10

America's Cup is a hidden gem! You are greeted by a variety of flavors and toppings. Usually a yogurt place will have fruits this and fruits that. America's Cup does away with those and offers what we call "chocolate flavors." There has been dulce de leche, egg nog, angel food cake, caramel, and cinnamon roll, alongside the classic milk chocolate and and vanilla. Once you're done with yogurt wonderland, there is toppings galore just a few feet over. You have your fruit, cookie dough, cheesecake, and mochi, but it wouldn't be complete without kit-kat bars, heath bars, crunch bars, cookies, and reese's... Oh reese's. Believe us, there are more toppings to choose from, but we can't name them all without being there. Then, you weigh in, and enjoy. Don't get confused between this location and the one on Harbor which has been "Modernized." Stay classic, my friends.

Tito's La Especial:Taco Al Vapor, Super Nachos

Tito's La Especial, Habor Blvd., Santa Ana, Ca                   ACB RATING: 8/10

Tacos al vapor are special because these beef tacos are cooked by steaming them. This makes the meat very juicy and tasty. The best tacos I have ever had were in Tijuana, from a guy at a corner of the street. But this restaurant is a good substitute.
The nachos are always a special treat because they have the same meat, beans, and nacho cheese.
We recommend this place because it is a special kind of meat that is not normally found in the average Mexican food restaurant, and it is tasty!!

Joe's Italian Ice:Joe Latti

Joe's Italian Ice, Anaheim, Ca               ACB RATING:10/10
Joe's Ice is a mixture of texture and smoothness! We usually go here for their specialty " Joe Latti" basically it is the worlds best soft serve in the center and top of their freshly made italian ice. The picture above is strawberries and cream with vanilla soft serve. Our personal favorite is mint italian ice with chocolate and vanilla swirl soft serve.
